The National Story
Founded in 1976, National Electric Supply is a locally owned, well-established, yet progressive company. National is a wholesale distributor of electrical products with a diverse customer base located throughout New Mexico. National has maintained its stronghold in the highly competitive electrical supply industry by adhering to the long-established goals established more than a quarter century ago by the founder Brit Lawrence. Our goal is to be the leader in our industry by:
- Providing superior customer service
- Supplying products of high quality and reliability at a competitive price
- Furnishing effective and timely technical support and training
- Remaining on the forefront of our industry with the addition of new products and services.
National Electric Supply services New Mexico from two locations and maintains its inventories in over one million cubic feet of warehouse space. Corporate headquarters for National Electric Supply is located in Albuquerque, and an additional branch is located in Santa Fe.
To stay competitive National has embraced new ideas, technology and positive change. We continually strive for higher efficiency and better customer service. Our focus on the future recognizes the ever-changing world of e-commerce and the impact it will have on our industry. The new millennium will present many challenges. We must stay abreast of the giant leaps in the technical arena, while emphasizing the value and importance of customer service.
The employee roster at National Electric Supply is composed of individuals who have benefited from our emphasis on training and on-going education. Our own sales training program co-exists with in-house product training, off site manufacturing training and industry-specific courses offered under the auspices of the National Association of Electrical Distributors. National recognizes that training, mentoring and a challenging work environment are important to all its employees. On a daily basis we conduct our business with integrity and honesty and look to our employees to share in our commitment of always trying to exceed expectations.
President and CEO, Rocklan Lawrence, has successfully met the challenge of guiding National Electric Supply into the 21st century.
